@hkmaly: Well, currently, they're not really friends, so it's more of a "oh, I guess we're going the same way, then let's go". Over the journey, they'll get closer, as we'll see.
And Hana says "this" not "who" ^_^ As in let's do this thing, let's go for it ^_^ Her speech is more slang-y than the other two girls'.
Also, keep in mind, this story will read closer to a fairy tale than a story in real life, so things that may not work out in real life would work in this story. Lucky coincidences, for one ^_^ Or even unlucky ones, like this rock face.
@hkmaly: Footpaths can be left for eons, they don't erode right away, depending on the soil. In this case, there is a line of mountains across this entire area, there is no way around it, so yes, the footpath does indeed lead to a sheer rock face, which then people can either climb over, or give up and walk back. Again, it's not a vacation spot ^_^ They are, after all going to Fell Mountain.
Ah, I see. But yes, it's a phrase, perhaps I'm wierd, but I say it often (usually not so seriously, mostly about menial things like cleaning the house "Let's DO this!" :P
@hkmaly: I meant eons in more of a long time sense of the thing, not literally ^_^
It is entirely a title of their own, they don't rule any particular land. It's like how in Sailor Moon, "Queen" Beryl isn't reaaallly a Queen at all, it's mostly like queen of darkness, or what not. But why do you think these Queens kidnapped royalty, hmm? ^_^
Ahah, that's good to know ^_^ The only thing is, these sorts of stories don't always have, or need, a maaassive backstory, so you may not end up with the answers you're looking for ^_^
